The EWI 5000 is a new wind synthesizer that incorporates the SONiVOX 3 GB tone library into the previous EWI series.
The fingering can be played with almost the same operation as the woodwind instrument like the previous model, and it is also possible to change to the fingering mode such as flute saxophone.
Furthermore, from this model, it is possible to play wirelessly, and you can move around freely even on the stage.
It can also be connected to an external MIDI sound module via MIDI and used as a MIDI controller.
It has eight dials that allow you to adjust parameters such as filters, reverb, and chorus, and is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, allowing you to play continuously for up to about 6 hours.
In addition, the included software EWI 5000 Editor Software can operate and edit the EWI 5000 sound library on a Mac / PC.
