The Made in Japan Traditional series was born from the fusion of Fender’s traditional instrument-making aesthetics and refined Japanese craftsmanship. Fender’s authentic DNA is revived with reliable Made in Japan quality.

The Made in Japan Traditional 60s Telecaster® Custom features a gloss-finished basswood body with binding. Its 9.5" radius “U”-shaped maple neck, equipped with 21 vintage-style frets, delivers the classic playability unique to the Traditional series. A vintage-style Tele® bridge with three threaded steel saddles, along with original pickups specially selected for the Traditional series, produces a realistic and musical vintage tone. The slim nut width is designed for comfortable playability, making it well suited to Japanese players. Solid guitar craftsmanship and flexible responses to players’ needs are fully reflected in this series.
