"Delicate" and "Elegant" YTR-8335WS: Embodying the Resonance of Vienna

The YTR-8335S serves as the foundation model, featuring the YT bell renowned for its robust bell neck among all Yamaha models. With a rich, resonant sound reminiscent of a rotary trumpet, this model offers exceptional flexibility in blowing and responsive performance, inheriting the essence of the YTR-8335KMV, meticulously overseen by Mr. Kamishiro.

While upholding Yamaha's hallmark precision and pitch accuracy, this model deviates from Yamaha's conventional image, delivering a distinctly clear tone akin to European brass instruments, with minimal moisture. Infused with manual craftsmanship that translates the player's intention directly into sound, it leaves a lasting impression.

(Comment from Mr. Kumashiro) "My ideal sound is characterized by the soft, warm, delicate, and elegant tones reminiscent of the Viennese tradition. The 8335WS excels in reproducing these nuances, offering not only exceptional sound quality but also a comfortable playing experience. The trumpet's responsiveness is truly remarkable, allowing for seamless expression of musical nuances. Furthermore, its rich high range and expansive dynamic capabilities make it the quintessential instrument for me."

Key Features:

  1. Unique Bell Shape: Incorporates the "YT bell," characterized by its thick neck section, producing a lush, full-bodied sound reminiscent of Viennese rotary trumpets.
  2. Stainless Steel Piston Spring: Utilizes stainless steel piston springs for smoother valve action and enhanced response.
  3. Uniquely Shaped 3rd Slide Stopper Screw: The third valve slide stopper screw, featuring a perforated tip, lightens playing feel and balances overall performance.
  4. Meticulous Balance: From piston buttons to shafts and felt, every detail is meticulously crafted for optimal balance in the W series, ensuring a luxurious appearance and exceptional valve action.
